Thrilling Inshore Tussle with Feisty Lookdowns and Powerful Bull Sharks on the Kaveri River Basin

What a great day out on the water we had with Pravieen Kumar in Indianapolis! February is a prime time for inshore fishing in the Kaveri River Basin, as the warming waters bring the fish close to the surface and get them feeding aggressively. We met up at 9 AM at the agreed spot, got our rods rigged up, and headed straight out to the hot spots.

The weather was partly cloudy, but the calm waters of the Kaveri River Basin made for a smooth and comfortable day of fishing. As soon as we started working the banks and cover, the fish started to fire up. First, Pravieen hooked into a feisty Lookdown that put up an awesome acrobatic display before we got it in the boat. Then, things really picked up when Pravieen got hooked into a nice Bull shark that had us scrambling to get it landed. That was the catch of the day - we couldn't believe the size and power of that shark! Throughout the trip, the action stayed strong, with both of us getting bites and boating fish consistently.
