Soaring Catches and Laughter-Filled Memories: A Fishing Trip to Greece's Inshore Gems
What a day we had out on the water here in Greece! I just got back from guiding a one-day fishing trip, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast. The weather was perfect - partly cloudy throughout the day, which kept things comfortable as we made our way to the fishing spots.
Pravieen and I met up at the usual spot, got our gear sorted, and wasted no time getting the lines in the water. We started working some of the inshore structure, using a variety of techniques like live bait and lures to try and entice the fish. It wasn't long before the rods started bending - Pravieen hooked into a nice Sooty Grunter that put up one heck of a fight! We managed to land that one, and shortly after, he hooked into a feisty Ladyfish that had us both laughing as it danced across the surface.
As the day went on, the action just kept getting better. We found a sweet spot where the Gag Grouper were stacked up, and Pravieen was casting like a pro, picking them off one by one. I love watching anglers get dialed in like that - it's so satisfying to see the techniques click and the fish start coming over the rail. We ended up with a great mixed bag, and Pravieen was all smiles as we headed back in.
